Accomodation
The camp takes place by the Lake Balaton, Balatonboglár, at Hotel Boglár***

The participants of Campo Loco 2011 will be housed at the 3-star Hotel Boglar. The hotel is directly by the lake, surrounded by a park.
Every room and apartment has private bathroom with shower and balcony. The rooms are equipped with TV and telephone.
The hotel has a large, air-conditioned conference room for 200 persons where the classes will be held.
Parking is available and free at the hotel.
Lake Balaton
Lake Balaton is the largest and cleanest lake in Central Europe. It is 79 km long with an average width of 7,8 km, giving a gross surface area of 594 km². It is situated in the Transdanubian region of Hungary and it is one of its foremost tourist destinations.
As Hungary is landlocked, it is often affectionately called the "Hungarian Sea". The average water temperature during the summer is 25°C, which makes swimming and bathing a pleasure. The high tourist season extends from June to the end of August. In the high season air temperature upto 35°C is quite common.
Lake Balaton is well known for sailing, kite-surfing, windsurfing, fishing and other water sports, but also for its beautiful countryside, hills, winyards and night life.
Balatonboglár
Balatonboglár is situated on the southern shore of Lake Balaton.
The town of 6200 inhabitants is built together with Balatonlelle and Fonyod by now. Balatonboglar had during WWII been host to thousands of Polish refugees who opened here one of only two secondary schools for Poles in Europe during 1939-1944. Teleki was credited with opening Hungary's borders to them and they named a street in Warsaw after him after the war had ended.
Today the secondary school functions as the community arts centre of Balatonboglár, and its teather-room will host the salsa camp's classes this year.
Balatonboglar is the city of grape and wine, the centre of South-Balaton Wine Region. The catholic church in the centre of the city was built in 1932. The Castle Hill above the church is a nature conservation area.
The symbol of the city is the look-out tower which is erected on the top of the hill. The look-out tower offers a wondeful viewto the lake. The near castle of Szőlőskislak serves as a museum of viniculture. Various programmes are organized at Platán Beach during the whole summer. Swimming Across Balaton between Balatonboglár and Révfülöp is a very popular amateur swimming contest with the participation of more thousands of people (on the last Saturday of July). The Boglár Vintage Festival is held on 20 August.
